The Fun Crazy excitement
Special Focus I want to announce that I am proposing a collaboration between my self and others. I hope that others will feel motivated to join. But what is the theme for this collaboration? I want to create a series of images based on the 22 major arcana Tarot cards. Although I'm not the kind of person to follow divination, I find the art and the meanings to the cards to be interesting. There is no limitation on what one can use for this project (drawing, painting, sculpture, photograph, etc.) as long as the image focuses on illustrating/showing one of the cards.
Any can take up to 2 cards if they want (although I can't think of anyone who would be that motivated at the moment). Follow the [link] if you want to look up a specific card (Thanks Wikipedia!) Here's another [link] and [link] just in case the first one does nothing for you. If you want to join in, please send me a message or reply in this journal. There are no requirements for size (although I would appreciate it not to be itty-bitty tiny or hugmongous large) and THE PICTURES ARE DUE ON JUNE 15th. My Summer has been going pretty well so far. I've picked more hours at my job and have gotten into the habit of waking up early. Nothing too dramatic or exciting happening now-a-days, but some really confusing aspects of life seem to show up more frequently. And all of it links directly to my relationship with my girlfriend. It's wacky. "House" season finale was incredible, a very exciting episode. I makes me want to see what happens next, but I know that won't happen any time soon. OH WOE IS ME! *Ahem* I suppose I'll just have to watch the Celtics and see whether or not they make it to the NBA Finals. I'M BEING AN ARTIST! WEEEEEEEEEEE!
